A piece can only leave the starting home area when a player rolls a 6. Rolling a 6 also grants an additional dice roll — so you can potentially move a newly activated piece in the same turn. You must roll a 6 before any of your four pieces can begin moving around the board.

Safe squares are highlighted positions on the board where a piece cannot be captured regardless of which other pieces land on the same square. There are 8 safe squares in the RK777 Ludo board. The starting square for each player (where pieces first land when exiting home) is also treated as a safe square by default. Two pieces of the same colour on any square also form a block that cannot be captured.

When one of your pieces lands on a square occupied by an opponent's single piece (not on a safe square), the opponent's piece is sent back to their home area and must roll a 6 to re-enter the board. The capturing player also receives a bonus dice roll as a reward for the capture. Capturing gives you an immediate tactical advantage by delaying your opponent's progress.

In Classic and Team Ludo, the player who successfully moves all four of their pieces from the starting home area, around the entire board and into the final home column wins the game. In Turbo mode, the winner is determined by the player who has the most pieces in the home column when the timer expires, if no one finishes all four pieces before time. Tournament mode uses a points system across multiple rounds.

If a player at RK777 disconnects, the game system provides a 60-second reconnection window. If the player reconnects within 60 seconds, play resumes normally.
